About reBuild Workshop

reBuild Workshop is an integrated architecture studio in Gowanus, Brooklyn, founded by architect Themis Haralabides in 2015. We transform New York’s historic townhouses and brownstones into architecturally distinctive, high-performance homes for contemporary life.

Our architect-led team brings architecture, interiors, and construction together as one team, carrying each project from the first sketch through completion.

Since 2015, we’ve completed more than 50 townhouse projects across New York City, from Park Slope and Cobble Hill to the Upper West Side - over half of them in historic districts. Each one teaches us something about the next.

Building science is part of the design from the first sketch. We model each house before construction, and you decide how far to take performance. At Windsor House, rooftop solar generates 90.6% of the home’s annual electricity, bringing it close to net zero.
